The Peak District National Park is home to breathtaking views with an abundance of walks and cycling trails just waiting to be explored.
The Peak District has miles of picturesque footpaths to explore with routes to suit all ages and abilities. The more energetic can enjoy hiking in the Dark Peak and for the less active or for those with children there are many charming walks along trails, with equally spectacular views. There is also an abundance of walks around the parks with Darwin Forest.
The Peak District has 65 miles of off road cycling trails and an abundance of scenic quiet lanes. The area also includes many challenging roads with the Tour of Britain recently passing through the Peak District. We have cycles for hire at Darwin Forest or you can hire them at Hassop station and cycle the Monsal Trail.
For the More Adventurous
The area has plenty of mountain bike trails waiting to be conquered and many challenging rock climbing routes. There is also fishing, sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing and kayaking available locally as well as clay shooting and outdoor pursuits.
We also offer a range of fun activities onsite that all the family will enjoy such as archery, waterwalkerz, bodyzorbing, fencing and snorkelling. You can find out more here. Onsite we also have a number of woodland walks, a forest trail, an orienteering course and bike hire.
